As we install the latest technology on our network, we have to think differently – conquering new challenges through innovation. When field employees needed to install new load break switches on our network, they identified a lack of safe clearance distance on some poles between the high voltage and low voltage lines. Working with Tortek, we developed an isolation transformer that allows the new technology to be installed on our existing infrastructure – reducing the risk of injury or property damage, while ensuring the safety of our crews and the community.
