Essential Energy and Surtek have developed a world-first grid interactive inverter capable of controlling/easing the impact of intermittent small scale renewable generation on the network. Proven in the field, we’re now working towards a production model. It’s exciting times, not only will the new grid interactive inverter create on-ramps for renewables across our network, it will tackle a range of other grid-based problems, leading to improvements in our network’s performance and a better essential service for our customers.
